  Introduction to Tufting Workshop

  A 3.5-hour introductory tufting workshop at this weekend-only studio near St Eriksplan in Stockholm, taught in English for groups of up to eight people. Participants use a tufting gun to fill a 45x45cm canvas, and the studio handles drying and backing for you (or lets you do it yourself) before you take the finished rug home.

  A single four-hour introductory tufting course on Södermalm in Stockholm, run by founder Hanna Kastås in small groups. Participants learn the technique on a pre-stretched frame and tuft a roughly 50x50cm motif of their own design, with all materials and a coffee break included; final gluing and finishing are done at home.

  Grundkurs i Tuftning (Basic Tufting Course)

  A two-day, ten-hour basic tufting course run from Oscar Wall's own Studio Ateljé on Folkungagatan in Stockholm. The first day covers technique and design set-up on an 80x80cm frame, and the second day is for finishing the piece, with participants leaving with a self-made wall hanging, mirror surround, or small rug.

  A two-day tufting course held in artist Tina Frausin's home studio on the Kinnekulle ridge in western Sweden, capped at six participants for close, individual guidance. The course covers both bouclé and cut-pile tufting plus trimming and finishing, and students bring about 1.2kg of their own yarn to complete a piece roughly 50x70cm.
